Welcome to Sabden Crown Green Bowling Club!

Sabden Crown Green Bowling Club was opened in 1991, financed by public subscription, government grants and local fund-raising events. In the years that followed the pavilion was built, which today provides a spacious, centrally-heated amenity with cooking and dining facilities. Licences for the sale and consumption of  alcohol are arranged on an occasional basis at the discretion of the bowling club committee. The club is also equipped with floodlights and a generous provision of outdoor seating.

Throughout the year the club hosts a number of open bowling competitions attracting bowlers of a high calibre from across the North of England. Details of such competitions appear below.

The location of the club within the village is shown on the map on the right. Click on 'View Larger Map' for a smaller scale map displaying Sabden in a wider context and, should you wish, obtain directions from your home.

Sabden has ample street parking within the vicinity of the club and a village car park off Padiham Road situated opposite the White Hart Inn..
